The "Arts Walk" is a pedestrian-only section of Court Street, which is closed to vehicular traffic from North Seventh Street to North Fifth Street. It was constructed between 2012 and 2018 as part of the Neighborhood Improvement Zone (NIZ) project to encourage public gatherings and use. It also connects the Allentown Art Museum, Miller Symphony Hall, and several retail stores and restaurants to Center Square as a pedestrian mall.
