Category:Asclepius with Epione or Hygieia (NAMA 1425)
English: Slab from Epidaurus depicting a seated Asclepius with either his wife Epione or his daughter Hygieia. According to another view, they are Zeus and Hera. To the right is the figure of the winged goddess Nike. Originally dated to 350-325 B.C., though more recent views place the work in the 1st century B.C. (likely a copy of a 4th-century BC work).
