Belem (ship, 1890), Formerly the Rhodos, renamed Belem circa 1916. The Portuguese steel cargo ship BELÉM, built in 1890 by Flensburger Schiffsbau Gesellschaft, owned at the time of her loss by Transportes Maritimos Do Estado, on a voyage from Gibraltar to Newport, wrecked at Northcott, North Cornwall, on November 20, 1917.[1]
