English: Big Bend Power Station, sometimes called the "Apollo Beach power station", is an electric power station in Hillsborough County, Florida, on Tampa Bay just north of Apollo Beach, Florida. The first unit began operation in 1970; the plant now has 4 coal-burning units, and a fuel oil-burning peaking/black start unit. It's owned by Tampa Electric Company, who has put a Manatee Viewing Center on the south side of the property.
