  • Departed on the 8 October 1916 after loading at New York, laden with 6000 tons of grain and 400 tons of machinery for the Dutch Government. She was stopped by German submarine U 53 shortly after leaving New York. She was sunk by torpedo the same day at 20.40 hrs off the Nantucket Light-vessel , at a position 40.40 North and 69.36 East.
