Brentford Dock in Brentford, London. Not to be confused with Brentford Lock or Thames Lock, Brentford, this is a broad former railway dock with a single tall (flood tide) gate to the River Thames (Tideway). It has been reduced slightly and has mid-rise dark-red/brown brick apartments with white concrete string courses, which are well-glazed. These mainly surround most of the basin which is a broad marina, others: well-landscaped communal gardens.
