Category:British Rail Class 08 D3000
English: This was British Railways first Class 08, entering service in October 1952. It carried the number 13000 until May 1961 when it became D3000. It was withdrawn in November 1972 and sold to the National Coal Board, moving to Hafordyrynys in March 1973. It worked at several other Welsh collieries until 1987 March 1987 when it was preserved, initially at Brighton.
