English: D5566 entered service with British Railways in November 1959 and was renumbered into the TOPS series as 31148 in February 1974. It was fitted with electric train heating equipment in August 1984 and renumbered 31448 but this was isolated in May 1990 when it became 31548. It was withdrawn in July 1995.
