English: D5967 entered service with British Railways in May 1961. In 1973 it was planned to be renumbered into the TOPS series as 31267 but this did not happen as it was fitted with electric train heating equipment (ETH) in April 1974 and renumbered 31419 instead. The ETH was isolated from May 1990 so it was renumbered again as number 31519. It was withdrawn in December 1995.
