English: D6600 entered service with British Rail in August 1965. It was renumbered 37300 in November 1973 then rebuilt and renumbered 37429 in March 1986. It carried the bilingual name Sir Dyfed - County of Dyfed from April 1987 until July 1987 and then Eisteddfod Genedlaethol (Welsh for 'National Eistedfod') from August 1987 to February 2001.
