English: D6972 entered service with British Rail in March 1965. It was renumbered 37272 in March 1974 then rebuilt with electric train heating and renumbered 37431 in April 1986. It carried the bilingual name Sîr Powys/County of Powys from June 1987 until May 1991 then Bullidae from May 1991 until April 1993. It was withdrawn in December 1999
