Category:Bugatti type 57 S Atalante

The most accomplished and aesthetically successful version of the Atalante coupé, offered from the second half of 1936, whereas the initial 57 version had only been on sale since the beginning of 1935. It differs from it by a lowered chassis with an alignment in height of the hood with the fenders, a shorter wheelbase, a more powerful engine, a streamlined radiator (dihedral), an exhaust outlet divided into 6 tubes, required by the low ground clearance, and the headlights integrated into the bodywork already appeared on the late examples of the type 57.
