The Carlton Hotel in Christchurch was built in 1906 to accommodate visitors to the New Zealand International Exhibition. It was registered with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a Category II building, with registration number 1841. Following the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, the hotel was demolished on 9 April 2011.
