One side, southwest of the mosque, has a smallgraveyard with at its SE end a sibyan mektebi, a primary school. Further SE and seemingly touching it is a spacious building holding many more graves, which must be the tomb of Grand Vezir Semiz Ali Pasha, son-in-law of Mihrimah. It is more than twice as long as it is wide, with a central dome and two cradle-vaults. In it are many graves. Its roof had collapsed, but has been restored and maybe repurposed for the graves.
