Category:Chapel of Takla Haymanot in the Hanging Church

Chapel of Takla Haymanot (dedicated to an Ethiopian saint), now the oldest remaining part of the original church. It is built directly above the eastern tower of the Roman gate below. During the major 19th century renovation of the church (which gave it its current form), this part of the church was screened off and turned into a side chapel.
