English: Christ Church (Episcopal), 3116 O Street Northwest, Washington, District of Columbia. Christ Church was founded in 1817 by a small group of prominent Georgetown citizens. Throughout the nineteenth century, many of Georgetown's business-men, merchants and government officials worshipped there. The present structure, completed in 1887, is a fine example of late nineteenth-century Gothic adaptation.
