English: The roman catholic church with two towers is monument from the medieval era. It was transformed several times its current Baroque style has been unchanged since 1833 (or 1828?). Two paintings of the main altar feom Vienna, the seccos in the dome made by Pál Vágó in 1904. The side altars are Mór Than works. Source: local informationn boards
Magyar: Kisboldogasszony római katolikus templom. A bejárata felett angyalok között kartusban címerpajzs, fölötte fülkében Szűz Mária a gyermek Jézussal szobor, az attika fölött szobordíszes oromzat. A 14. századi templomot (a K-i torony jelentős magasságban a 14. századból való, gótikus ablakokkal) 1744-1746 között a D-i és Ny-i fal elbontásával bővítették (építész: Braun Sebestyén). 1825-1828 között új szentély és kereszthajó épült (építész: Homályossy Ferenc, Rabl Károly). Falképek: 1904 (Vágó Pál, Szirmai Antal). Berendezés: 18-19. század (Joseph Danhauser, Than Mór, Sajóssy Alajos). Orgona: 1893. azonosító: 5908 (törzsszám: 4000). A templomkert körüli falban Lourdes-i barlang található amely az utcára/parkra néz - Jászapáti, Hősök tere (Jászapáti főtere így sokszor Fő térnek nevezik), István király park (több helyen Szent Istán parknak nevezik)
