The Clark R. Griggs House at 505 W. Main Street in Urbana, Illinois was built in 1871 and was designed in the Italianate style. Griggs, who served as mayor of Urbana and in the state legislature, and was president of the Indianapolis, Bloomington, and Western Railroad, built the house as a wedding present for his son, Albert C.
