Category:Coat of arms of Birmingham (post 1974)

Coat of arms of the City of Birmingham, England.

There are two forms of the city's arms. From 1 April 1974 when Sutton Coldfield was incorporated into Birmingham (and the county of West Midlands created). The fess of ermine was changed to an ermine cross, the central crown changed to a mitre, and the supporters reversed (with the woman on the left (dexter) side. For the earlier version, see Category:Coat of arms of Birmingham (pre 1974).

Different arms were used when Birmingham was a borough (1838-1889): see Category:Coat of arms of the Borough of Birmingham.
