This pipe organ, from the Abbey of Savigny-le-Vieux, was built between 1724 and 1728 by the organbuilders Deslondes and Rohrer, from Paris. The case is the work of sculptors Louis Le Guillard and Jacques Picard, from Caen and dates from around 1720; it was painted in 1831. The organ is restored and transferred to Coutances by Louis Lair in 1812, then restored again in 1918 by Paul Kœnig. The instrument is rebuilt by Alfred Kern in 1985.
