English: Cream tabbies have cream or buff markings (pale/faint yellow-orange with a pinkish teint) on a off-white to pale honey-coloured background. Cream tabby is the diluted (lighter/faded/faint) version of red/orange/ginger tabby colour in cats.
Attention:
- Cream tabby cats do not have any orange-red tabby markings, the darkest colour in the fur is cream (pale/faint yellow-orange with a pinkish teint). Typically the cream tabby markings are nearly the same colour as the background, therefore it can be difficult to distinguish and categorise the tabby pattern. See: Tabby cat color overview.
- There are no true solid/self coloured cream cats; even genetically solid cream cats will have tabby markings.
- Some white around the nozzle is accepted, for more white use Cream tabby and white cats.
Nederlands: Crème cyper (tabby) katten: Katten met een duidelijke markering in de vacht, bestaande uit strepen, stippen, lijnen, of andere patronen, in de vachtkleur crème. Het patroon is crèmekleurig met een roze tint, en dit zijn dan ook geen rode katten met een oranje-rood patroon. Een beetje witte vacht rondom de snuit wordt geaccepteerd, voor meer wit in de vacht gebruik crème cyper en witte katten.
