The pictures have been scanned in 300 dpi grayscale, except Sjælland 09,10,13,14 (200 dpi color).

The originals numbered 01-06 were black & white on a white background. Some bear the note "Nielsen Zink". The originals numbered 07-14 were in tones of gray on a background of either gray or brown-ish. Some of these were marked "I.W.Tegner & Kittendorffs lith.Inst". None of the originals were in color.

The filenames are made up of the following parts:

  • The part of Denmark (Øer = smaller islands)
  • The picture's number in the book
  • The description, slightly edited from the book
  • The direction from which the building is seen (V = West, Ø = East)
  • The year of drawing
