Both blocks of flats were demolished with the intention of replacing them with new council housing (something that seems to be back in vogue in Leeds now after private housing associations became seen as Thatcher boo-boys controlling housing stock). Later in the year the five blocks of flats that overlook Holbeck Moor are to be demolished under the same scheme. Don't go on holiday as you may not recognise the city upon your return.
