English: Description CWGC : Rauwerderhem is a commune, with headquarters in the village of Rauwerd, which controls nine villages. Deersum is one of these lying just south of Rauwerd and 16 kilometres south-south-west of Leeuwarden. The churchyard is around the church in the centre of the village.Historical Information There is one, 1939-1945 War casualty commemorated in this site.

Nederlands: Het erehof Dearsum (Deersum) ligt op het kerkhof van de Nicolaaskerk n Dearsum (Deersum). Er ligt één CWGC-graf van Charles Pearn Philp, een boordschutter van de Royal Air Force. Hij was bemanningslid van een Halifax, de W7714, die bij Speers vlakbij Boarnsterhim neerstortte. Alle 7 bemanningsleden kwamen daarbij om het leven. Zes zijn tot op heden vermist.
