English: Description CWGC: Hattem is a small town some 5 kilometres south of Zwolle, on the main Zwolle-Apeldoorn road. The cemetery is on the south-eastern side of the town, about 455 metres from the railway station. The one British grave is in the southern half of the cemetery, near the boundary.
Nederlands: Op de algemene begraafplaats van Hattem ligt het graf van de Engelse sergeant J.P.S. Austin. John Patrick Standidge Auston was een sergeant van de Special operations van het Royal Berkshire Regiment. Hij was lid van het z.g. Jedburgh-team wat op 12 september 1944 werd gedropt op een afwerpterrein bij Rijssen. Zijn codenaam was 'Bunny. Austin werd gefusilleerd tesamen met vijf Nederlanders.
