English: The First United Methodist Church, located at 16 North William Street in Johnstown, New York, was built in 1888 as the First Methodist Episcopal Church. The congregation was established in 1829. It merged with the First Methodist Church of Gloversville and moved into the Gloverville sanctuary. In 2005, the combined congrgeations merged with the Fremont Street United Methodist Church to form the Foothills United Methodist church. (Sources: [1], [2], [3])
