English: Plaque commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Danube flood in 1838 that destroyed 98% of the common Csepel. It is affixed to the front of the town hall of the 21st district of Budapest. The new village was built around this area free from flooding. Quote: “The violent flood abated and the city begins to recover / and from its ravages it has more blessed years in perspective;” (Vörösmathy) The author of the bronze reliefs is Mr. Róbert Csíkszentmihályi (1988). Français : Plaque commémorant le 250ème anniversaire de l’ inondation du Danube en 1838 qui a détruit le 98 % de la commune Csepel. Elle est apposé sur le front de la mairie du 21e arrondissement de Budapest. Le nouveau village a été reconstruit autour de cet endroit exempt des inondations. Citation : « La crue violente s'est éloigné et la ville commence à se relever / et depuis de ses ravages elle a des années plus bénites en perspective; » (Vörösmathy) L’auteur du relief en bronze est M. Magyar: A Csepel község 98 %-át elpusztító 1838-as dunai árvíz 150. évfordulára elhelyezett emléktábla a Budapest 21. kerületének városháza falán. Ezen az ármentes helyen épült újjá a község. Idézet: „A’ vad özön lerohant, ’s a’ város lábbadoz ismét / ’S káraiból áldóbb évek elébe tekint;” (Vörösmarthy). A bronz dombormű Csíkszentmihályi Róbert alkotása (1988).
