English: François-Marie Luzel (6 June 1826 - 26 February 1895), often known by his Breton name Fañch an Uhel, was a French folklorist and Breton-language poet.

Français : François-Marie Luzel (6 juin 1821 Plouaret - 26 février 1895 Quimper), également connu sous la forme bretonne de son nom Fañch an Uhel, est un folkloriste breton, et également un poète en langue bretonne.

Català: François-Marie Luzel, en bretó Fañch an Uhel (Plouaret, Costes del Nord 1821-1895) fou un erudit i etnògraf bretó d'origen camperol. Va estudiar celtisme a Roazhon, on conegué Paul Sébillot, i el 1844 i el 1863 es va encarregar de recollir cançons populars bretones. El 1872 participà en el Congrés de l'Association Bretonne a Sant Brieg, i hi certificà l'autenticitat del Barzaz Breiz de Théodore Hersart de la Villemarqué, contra l'opinió d'altres experts com Francis Gourvil.

Estudió la cultura celta en Rennes, donde conoció a Paul Sébillot. Entre 1844 y 1863 se dedicó a recoger las canciones populares bretonas. En 1872 participó en el congreso de la Asociación Bretona en Sant Brieg, dónde certifica la autenticidad del Barzaz Breiz de Théodore Hersart de la Villemarqué, en contra de la opinión de otros expertos como Francis Gourvil.
