English: Gedney Island (also known as Hat Island) is an island located in Possession Sound, Snohomish County, Washington, United States. The island is located between Everett to the east, Whidbey Island to the west, Camano Island, Tulalip Bay and Tulalip Indian Reservation to the north and Puget Sound to the south. The only accesss to the island is a ferry that travels Wednesdays and Weekends from the Everett Yacht Club facilities. In 2008 the ferry moved south of the North Yacht Basin and the 10th Street Marinia which serves the Jetty Island ferry.
