English: The Georges Leygues class (Type F70) is a class of anti-submarine warfare ships of the French Navy. The French Navy does not use the term "Destroyer" calling its surface combatants "Frigates", however these are subdivided into Frigates of the first class and Frigates of the second class. With the First class frigates being the equivalent to the destroyers of other nations.
