English: Glendalough (Irish: Gleann Dá Loch, meaning Glen of Two Lakes) is a glacial valley located in County Wicklow, Ireland, renowned for its Early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St Kevin, a hermit priest, and destroyed in 1398 by English troops.
Gaeilge: Suíomh de mhór-mhainistir Éireannach is ea Gleann Dá Loch (Béarla: Glendalough), ar bhunagh Naomh Caoimhín í sa séú haois. Tá sé suite i ngleann aibhne a bhfuil dhá loch inti. Tá cloigtheach iontach, séipéil chloiche agus croiseanna maisithe i measc na bhfothracha.
