English: The Goddess of Dodona is a marble statuette from the Hellenistic era (roughly second half of the second century BCE), found in Dodona in 1997 during illegal excavations, then bought by the Michael C. Carlos Museum in 2002. Repatriated to Greece in early 2024. Her head is made of Parian marble, and her body of Pentelic. Originally identified as a Terpsichore while displayed in Atlanta, though now labelled as Artemis by the Greek state.
