Category:Gold glass wrongly thought to be Galla Placidia
English: Miniature painting on gilded glass medallion [1] from Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia, mounted on King Desiderius's Cross. It was considered in XVIII c., that medallion depicts a portrait of Galla Placidia with her children. However modern scholars have firmly rejected this identification. [2]. Inscriptions on medallion are not names but some words in coptic language.
