English: Named after a traditional cap worn by Austrian girls, Goldhaube is a combined military airspace commanding, controlling and alerting system that uses modern radar equipment to protect Austria’s airspace against any kind of intruder. Integrating fixed military, civilian air traffic control and mobile radars, the most important Goldhaube units are located on the summits of Kolomannsberg, Koralpe and Buschberg.
