In memory of sir Charles William Doyle, lieutenant general in her britannic majestys service, knight grand cross of the Guelph, knight of the Bath, officer of the legion of honnor, knight of Charles III of Spain, and knight of the Turkish order of the crescent & & &. Died 26th October 1842 aged 62. This monument is erected to their beloved father by his affectionnate children in token of their love and respect and to record their grief for his loss.
