Encore plus intense que les incendies de 1845, ce dernier brûle en une journée environ 2 500 à 3 000 bâtiments de trois faubourgs de la ville (aujourd'hui Saint-Sauveur et Saint-Roch).
English: The Great Fire of Quebec City, or Fire of 1866 in Quebec City, was a conflagration that raged on October 14, 1866, in Quebec City, Province of Canada. Even more intense than the fires of 1845, this last one burns in a single day around 2,500 to 3,000 structures in three suburbs (faubourgs) of the city — the modern-day neighbourhoods/quarters (quartiers) of Saint-Sauveur and Saint-Roch.
