"... There was a Chet Atkins Solid Body, too, essentially a Round Up with a Bigsby vibrato — although, despite the name, the Solid Body still had Gretsch's customary semi-solid construction. Atkins had little to do with the Solid Body model, and it was dropped after a few years. ... The Solid Body 6121 (far left, 1956 example) was the less popular semi-solid version of the first Chet Atkins model, despite Atkins appearing in ads such as this 1955 promo (below left). The catalog from that same year shows both the Hollow and Solid Chet models with special Gretsch Western straps attached. "
