Deutsch: Die Grimmstraße in Kiel-Holtenau wurde 1896 als unbefestigter Fußweg angelegt und später als Kirchenweg zur Dankeskirche ausgebaut. 1919 erfolgte die Umbenennung in Grimmstraße, benannt nach dem Konsul Hermann Grimm (* 31. März 1855, † 3. Februar 1927), der 30 Jahre lang Mitglied der Gemeindevertretung in Holtenau war.
English: Grimmstrasse in the district of Kiel Holtenau was created in 1896 as an unpaved footpath and was later expanded into a Kirchenweg (church way) to the Dankeskirche. In 1919 the name was changed to Grimmstraße, named after the consul Hermann Grimm (* March 31, 1855, † February 3, 1927), a member of the municipal council in Holtenau for 30 years.
