Deutsch: Hahndorf ist ein Dorf im australischen Bundesstaat Südaustralien mit rund 1.800 Einwohnern. Die Ortschaft liegt 28 km südöstlich von Adelaide in South Australia und ist eine Touristenattraktion der Region Adelaide Hills, da Hahndorf eine der ersten deutschen Siedlungen Australiens ist. Das deutsche Erbe ist auch heute noch sichtbar, etwa in Form von Bäckereien mit typisch deutschen Backwaren wie auch Fleischereien mit einer Vielzahl an Wurstwaren, die im restlichen Australien untypisch sind. English: Hahndorf is a small town about 30 minutes drive out of Adelaide, South Australia along the South Eastern Freeway (Princes Highway). The town was settled by Lutheran migrants largely from in and around a small village then named "Kay" in Prussia, many of whom were aboard the Zebra. The town is named after Danish Captain Dirk Meinhertz Hahn, who was captain of the Zebra. (→Hahndorf, South Australia)

Norsk bokmål: Hahndorf er en landsby 25 km øst for Adelaide i Sør-Australia. Stedet ble grunnlagt av tyske, protestantiske nybyggere i 1838. Byen ble oppkalt etter den danske kapteinen Dirk Meinhertz Hahn. Den tyske innflytelsen på byen er godt synlig, bygningene i hovedgaten er fortrinnsvis oppført i tradisjonell, tysk bindingsverkstil. På grunn av første verdenskrig ble byen omdøpt Ambleside i 1917, det gamle navnet ble tilbakeført i 1935. (→Hahndorf)
