Deutsch: Das Schloss Herrenhausen in Hannover. Teile der ursprünglichen Bausubstanz stammten aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Die Fassaden wurde 1819 bis 1821 durch Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves (1788–1864) im klassizistischen Stil errichtet. 1943 wurde das Schloss zerstört und 2013 wieder aufgebaut.
English: Herrenhausen Palace was the royal summer residence of the monarchs of the Kingdom of Hanover. It has a large adjoining garden, today's Herrenhäuser Gärten. It was constructed 1819-1821 by Georg Ludwig Friedrich Laves. King George II of Great Britain was born here. The palace was destroyed by aerial bombardments during the Second World War in 1943. The state government of Lower Saxony in November 2007 made public plans for reconstruction, which was completed in 2013.
