The station is located on the Kingsland Viaduct and is served by the London Overground trains on the extended East London Line, under the control of the London Rail division of Transport for London. The station is situated close to the Geffrye Museum adjacent to Geffrye Street at its junction with Dunloe Street. It is in 1 and 2.
