Ian Grant (1903-1980) was the son of Alexander Grant (1866-1943) and his wife Margaret Stewart (1866-1942). Alexander and Margaret were married in 1902, and (it appears that) Ian was born in Mar Forest (cottage) in 1903. In 1926 (as a family) they moved to Luibeg (cottage) until Alexander retired and they moved again to Pinewood (cottage) in Inverey where Margaret died in 1942 and Alexander died in 1943.
