AccordionLinks.com."The Italo-American Accordion Company was founded around 1914 in Chicago, by Luigi Giulietti, Demo, Finau and Bramante Piatanesi and Roberto Rocianni. Finau Piatanesi left around 1920 to start Piatanesi Accordion Company, and in 1923 Giulietti left to found the Giulietti Accordion Company. At the peak, the company had some 100 employees; the brand was a favourite of Guido Deiro. In 1950 the company was taken over by by Guiseppe "Joe" Romagnoli, whose family still owns the business (now in Oak Lawn, Illinois). [WM] [GA] [DC] "
