English: Itata was a iron barque, built 1883 by Evans R. & J. & Co., Liverpool for Newark Shipping Co., Liverpool. In January 1906, she was gutted by fire in the port of Newcastle and was subsequently sunk.
Her dimensions were length × beam × depth = 202.1 × 33.5 × 19.9 ft (61.6 × 10.2 × 6 m) an she had a tonnage of 950 GRT and 927 NRT.[1][2]
