Jabez Knapp (1752-1801), of Goshen, New York, (son of Caleb IV, Caleb III, Caleb II, Nicholas I) He was born on 5 August 1752 and served in the American Revolutionary War as a Lieutenant in the Goshen Regiment. He was killed by a fall from his horse on General Training Day, 1 May 1801. He married 4 May 1777 to Hannah Holly.
