- James Anderson (1813-1877) was a British photographer working mainly in Roma, Italy. His son Domenico Anderson (1854-1938) was a photographer too, and he took over the business after his father's deaths; at his death, his archive was bought by the Fratelli Alinari firm, in Florence, which is still extant.
