English: Kumimono − or Tokyō — groups of brackets and supporting blocks supporting the rafters and roofs of Buddhist temples in Japan.
  • The structural design was originated by Chinese architects for Buddhist temples in China.
  • The number of brackets is indicated with the 'counter suffix' tesaki. For example, the term futatesaki indicates two projecting brackets.
