Basic arms & blazon edit

Arms of the House of Hohenstaufen, Dukes of Swabia from 1079. Arms first adopted by King Henry VII of Germany (lifespan: 1211-1242), King of Sicily from 1212 until 1217 and King of Germany (formally Rex Romanorum ("King of the Romans")) from 1220 until 1235, the son of w:Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor (lifespan: 1194-1250). Frederick II does not appear to have used an equestrian seal, the main source of information on coats of arms at the start of the heraldic era in the early 13th century, nor does he use any coat of arms on his coins or seals.
