English: Liverpool was a four-masted iron ship built in 1888/1889 by Russell & Co., Port Glasgow for R.W. Leyland & Co., Liverpool. Her dimensions were: Length: 333.2 ft (101.6 m). Width: 47.8 ft (14.6 m). Depth: 26.4 ft (8 m). and tonnage 3400 GRT and 3330 NRT. Rigged with double topsails and single topgallant sails. Stranded 1902 on Alderney on voyage from Antwerpen to San Francisco.
