Deutsch: Die Wiese Möllingsruh heißt die ehemalige östliche Spitze des Kleinen Kiels, die 1869 unter Bürgermeister Heinrich Mölling zugeschüttet wurde, weil das Gewässer dort versumpft war. Die volkstümliche Bezeichnung „Möllingsruh“ hat sich bis heute erhalten und gilt als „Wackelpuddingwiese“, weil der Boden nach wie vor feucht war und federte. Möllingsruh bildet heute einen Teil des Ratsdienergartens.

English: The meadow Möllingsruh (Mölling's rest) is the name of the former eastern tip of the lake Kleiner Kiel, which was filled in 1869 under Mayor Heinrich Mölling because the water there was swampy. The popular name “Möllingsruh” for the meadow has been preserved to this day and is considered a “wobbly puddin meadow” (jello meadow) because the ground was still moist and springy. Möllingsruh is now part of the park Ratsdienergarten.
